How Hermès Infused Jockey-Inspired Boldness Into Their Menswear Collection at Paris Fashion Week.

At Paris Fashion Week, Hermès unveiled a menswear collection that masterfully reimagined the sporty elegance of jockey-style attire, blending it seamlessly with the brand's signature luxurious craftsmanship.

The result was a collection that exuded both sophistication and boldness, with influences drawn directly from the equestrian world.

Hermès’ connection to the world of horseback riding and its deep heritage in equestrian accessories were clearly reflected in this collection.

Inspired by the dynamic, structured style of jockey uniforms, the pieces featured tailored jackets, fitted trousers, and sleek leather boots that echoed the precision of equestrian gear.

The addition of subtle details such as buckled belts, high collars, and reinforced shoulders gave the collection a distinctly equestrian feel, reworked for urban sophistication.

While the collection drew clear inspiration from jockey-style uniforms, it was the luxurious fabrics and impeccable craftsmanship that truly elevated it. Rich, supple leather jackets were paired with soft cashmere sweaters, while silk scarves in muted tones added an air of refinement.

The athletic influence was balanced with Hermès' signature luxurious fabrics, resulting in pieces that offered both comfort and elegance.

The color palette, dominated by earthy tones like rich browns, forest greens, and deep tans, was a direct nod to the natural world of equestrianism. However, flashes of metallic accents in the form of hardware on boots, jackets, and belts brought a contemporary edge to the look.
