Herb-Baked Salmon and Asparagus: A Simple, Low-Carb Lunch That’s Packed with Flavor.

If you’re looking for a healthy, low-carb lunch that’s easy to make and full of flavor, look no further than this herb-baked salmon and asparagus recipe. With a perfect balance of lean protein from the salmon and vitamins from the asparagus, this dish is simple to prepare and guaranteed to satisfy.

Ingredients: – 2 salmon fillet – 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed – 2 tbsp olive oil – 1 lemon, sliced into round

– 1 tsp dried thyme – 1 tsp dried rosemary – 1 garlic clove, minced – Salt and pepper to taste – Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare the Foil Packets: Lay out two large sheets of aluminum foil on a baking tray. Drizzle a little olive oil on each sheet to prevent sticking.

Season the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the center of each foil sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, and then sprinkle with salt, pepper, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Top each fillet with a few slices of lemon.

Prepare the Asparagus: Arrange the trimmed asparagus around the salmon on the foil. Drizzle with a little more olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Seal the Foil Packets: Fold the edges of the foil up over the salmon and asparagus to create a sealed packet. This will trap the steam and keep everything moist during baking.

Bake: Place the foil packets in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked (flakes easily with a fork) and the asparagus is tender.

Serve and Enjoy: Carefully open the foil packets (watch out for steam), and garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color. Serve hot and enjoy your healthy, low-carb lunch!
