Christy Carlson Romano’s Close Call: What Really Happened on the Shooting Range?

Former Disney Channel star Christy Carlson Romano recently experienced a harrowing incident during her husband's birthday celebration.

While participating in a clay pigeon shooting activity, Romano was accidentally shot in the face by a member of another party who "unsafely fired in the wrong direction."

She sustained injuries in five places, with one fragment lodged under her right eye, making surgical removal too risky at this time. Her husband, Brendan Rooney, promptly took her to St. David's South Austin Medical Center in Texas for treatment.

Despite the traumatic experience, Romano expressed gratitude for her survival and emphasized the importance of cherishing loved ones, as life can change in an instant.

This incident occurred shortly after Romano's participation in the reality competition "Special Forces:

World's Toughest Test," where she reached the penultimate episode, outperforming other contestants, including Olympic medalists.

Romano and Rooney have been married since December 2013 and share two daughters, Victoria and Sophia Elizabeth.

In the aftermath of the accident, both Romano and Rooney have expressed their gratitude and love for each other on social media, highlighting their strong bond and resilience.
